Darcy's Rejection

Darcy: “I love you…most ardently. Please do me the honor of accepting my hand.”

Elizabeth: “Your arrogance and conceit, your selfish disdain for the feelings of others made me realize that you were the last man on earth I could ever be prevailed upon to marry.”

Ouch. Poor Mr. Darcy is so misunderstood. I love this scene. His look of utter dejection and the near kiss that becomes of it…

I despise the other Darcy picture I have in my gallery…I think this is much better and I hope others think so as well.
